-This concert is the last concert for long-time Director of Jazz Studies, Dave Eshelman.
-To honor him, the CSUEB music dept is commissiong 4 pieces by students who have studied under Dave, one of whom is Ayn Inserto.
-These pieces will be performed at the concert by a special alumni big band, of which Ayn will also be one of the pianists for.
